Attorney Christine M. Nicastro is the founder of the firm NICASTRO LAW, L.L.C. She initially worked in the insurance defense field as a Boston Attorney and later handled consumer claims for plaintiffs in breach of contract and negligence cases; however, in 1996, she saw the necessity to expand her practice to meet more of the communities needs. From downtown Boston, to South Boston, Hyde Park, Roslindale, West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Brighton, Allston, Brookline, South Brookline, Milton, Dedham, and the surrounding towns, many local families came to her who needed legal representation in family law whether divorce, custody, modification or visitation; or such areas as prenuptial agreements, estate and will planning, trusts, and probate activities such as preparation for the estate, probate appointment, inventory, and final accounting. Many of her clients had young children and wanted a safe and dependable plan for guardianship for them.
As her firm continued to develop and expand after more than eleven years in practice, in October of 2005, the firm became a limited liability company, L.L.C.. Since that time, the firm's repertoire of expertise has grown to include lawyers who handle real estate closings for buyers, sellers, banks and mortgage companies. The attorneys have handled condominium conversions for homeowners, changing the use of their current two or three-family homes into an income producing condominium. The firm has worked as conveyancing attorney and title agent.
Beginning in 2006, Attorney Nicastro began focusing her attention on the probate work coming into the firm. With the 2012 adoption of the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code MUPC, the firm has become up to date and very adept at handling all aspects of probate, estate planning and family law.
NICASTRO LAW, L.L.C. in addition to having handled personal injury, auto accidents, operating under the influence OUI/DWI, slip and fall cases, wrongful termination, and other cases where the negotiation of a good settlement in the form of money for damages, and pain and suffering is considered a good “win”, the firm is equipped to handle other matters such as initial arraignments in criminal cases, as well as motions to suppress evidence, and trial and or plea negotiation.”
The firm represents many small businesses in the initial formation, and set up of the structure, whether it be a sole proprietorship, corporation, or L.L.C. After set up, the firm continues to provide counsel to small businesses on a variety of matters and handles the collection of their accounts receivable. Many local Landlords have sought out representation by NICASTRO LAW, in order to evict the tenant, who does not want to move out. NICASTRO LAW, L.L.C., works aggressively with competent constables to quickly and professionally recover monies owed to clients.
